Apéritifs en Plein Air

The grapefruit comes through bright and clean right away, but it’s that sweet rhubarb leaf underneath that keeps it interesting all day. I lit it before breakfast and it’s still holding its own in the evening without getting cloying.

The tart rhubarb and grapefruit hit you right away, but it settles into something sweet and warm that lasts for hours. Burned it all afternoon and the scent filled the whole living room without getting overpowering.

I’ve been burning this while working from home and the grapefruit keeps it from being too sweet, which is exactly what I wanted. The rhubarb leaf adds a sharpness that makes the whole room smell like a fancy cocktail without the hangover. It’s already become my afternoon ritual.
